ICT for Regional Development- Knowledge transfer and best practice exchange in Interreg projects

ICT is regarded globally as the integral infrastructure and service platform that underpins the fabric of Europe's economy and development in general. Regional development and inter-regional cooperation are regarded as the key drivers for ICT adoption and penetration. In this context, the INTERREG programme is one of the major instruments to support integration of ICT at a European level through initiative such as, inter-regional co-operation for best practice identification and knowledge transfer.
This conference aims to create a dissemination platform for all projects, which have recently completed or are currently still in progre, to generate insightful debate and valuable exchanges between relevant actors. Project representatives are invited to present and share with their peers best practices and transfer models they have developed on their INTERREG projects. The conference will represent an excellent opportunity to promote project achievements, discuss new ideas and create consortiums for future initiatives.
The goal of the symposium is to provide a framework for dissemination and debates for regional and Inter-regional development projects in these areas:

Objective of the symposium:
The purpose of the symposium is to gather together the best cooperation models and practices identified by colleagues from the INTERREG family and produce comprehensive and genuine guidance for inter-regional cooperation for ICT penetration and adoption within the European Regions.
